Michael Leander speaking about social media as a method to build customer relations
“Social media and social networks play a big role in customer engagement”, says Michael Leander. In Cracow, he will speak about how organizations can utilize social media to increase the customer experience and improve customer service. He adds “with only 40 minutes in the plenary session, there is a limit to how much knowledge I can pass on. But my intention is to touch on three important concepts that are important for loyalty marketers.
The second is how to measure the customer experience and the conversation in social media. And the third pillar will be how to utilize direct marketing to increase and sustain loyalty. I am looking very much forward to attending the conference as a speaker and attendee. This is definitely a conference where anyone can learn a lot - regardless of level of experience. ”

Michael Leander speaking in Warsaw in June 2009
April 15, 2009

Michael Leander has been invited to speak at the tenth e-marketing conference taking place in Warsaw, Poland. The Conference takes place on June 16th. and 17th.
The conference website is now public, however this is one of Polands most popular conferences. Organized by Blue Business Media, which is part of Informedia Poland.
This is an interesting conference with speakers from Dell, Agora, Coca-Cola, Bank Millennium, Radio Eska, Mazda, BRE Bank and Hoop Polska, just to mention a few.
Interestingly do you notice something ?
No female speakers presenting - well, as far as I know. Males still dominate the speaking circuit, which is a real pity. I find that women make great presenters with their ability to create good and compelling contents with a clear structure and message. Something I am often struggling with myself:-)
Michael Leander not speaking at DM Days in Ukraine
April 13, 2009
Due to peculiar circumstances with the organizers of DM Days in Ukraine, Michael Leander will not be speaking in Kiev in May.
In the unlikely event that you decided to pay to join the conference because you saw my name on the speakers list :-), I sincerely apologize.
Well, it is a long story and it doesn’t do anyone any good to elaborate at this moment.
